ANASTASIUS I, (491-518), gold tremissis, Constantinople mint, (1.468 grams), obv. diademed, draped and cuirassed bust to right, around d N ANASTA SIUS PP AVG, rev. Victory advancing to left with globe with cross and wreath, around VICTORIA AVGUSTORVM, CONOB in exergue, (S.9, DOC 10, BMC 10-15, R.327-330). Crinkled and bent, weak in places, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.
