EADGAR, (959-975), silver penny, pre-reform circumspection cross, two line horizontal trefoil HT-1 type, North Eastern variant, probably Lincoln Mint, moneyer Athelaver, (1.11 g), obv. small cross pattee within inner circle, legend +EADGAR RE+ around, followed by two crescents one inverted above the other, rev. ADELA ++_+ VER MO divided by three small cross pattee, above and below a trefoil of pellets, (S.1129, N.741, BMC i var). Toning, nearly very fine and rare.
