EDWARD I, (1272-1307), silver penny, long cross type, new class IXb1, issued 1300-1302, Durham Mint (Bishop Bek), mintmark Cross Moline, (1.23 g), obv. crowned facing bust, cross moline at commencement of +EDW R ANGL DNS HYB around, rev. long cross voided dividing CIVITAS DVRENE, a trefoil of pellets in each angle, (S.1423, N.1037). Toned, nearly fair.
