Macrinus laureate head to right facing Diadumenian head to left, around partial legend AVT K O**PEL*CEVH MAKPEINOC K M **OPEL ANTWNEINO*C, rev. Snake upright head to right, around V*P PONTIAN O*V MAPKIANO**POLI TWN*, E in field to left, (S.-, BMC -, SNG Munich 302, Pick 782 [p.248]). Brown patina, very fine or better and very rare for this reverse.
