THRACE, Tauric Chersonese, Panticapaeum, (100-50 B.C.), AE 25, (16.885 grams), obv. Dionysos head to right, wearing ivy wreath, rev. bow case and quiver, to left monogram, (S.-, SNG Stancomb 597 [Pl.XXVII], SNG BM 946-948 [Pl.XXXVI], BMC 1-3], SNG Cop.10). Extremely fine/good very fine, slightly porous flan and very rare.

A similar example in Triton V (David Freedman Collection) January 15, 2002 (lot 321) realised US$950.
