CARIA, Antiochia ad Maeandrum, Gordian III, (238-244), AE 28, (8.614 grams), obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III to right, around AYT K M ANT **GORD*IANOC, rev. Athena standing facing head to left with spear and shield, **ANTIO CEWN*, (S.-, BMC 48). Cleaned, nearly very fine and rare.
