SICILY, Syracuse, (c.410-400 B.C.), tetras, AE 13, (1.65 g), obv. nymph Arethusa head facing, slightly turned to left, within line border, rev. octopus, (S.-, Calciati 29, SNG Cop. 679, SNG ANS 385, HGC 2, 1432). Pleasing dark brown-black patina, very fine, rare in this condition.
