BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Eucradides I, (171-135 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.100 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust of Eucratides to right all within dotted border, rev. the Dioscouroi on horseback to right holding spears and palms, monogram of PK to right, below in exergue **EUKRATIDOU*, above **BASILEWS*, (S.7568, SNG ANS 431, Bopearachchi Series 1B). Toned, with minor surface porosity, otherwise very fine in high relief, a rare variant.
