Sol standing left holding globe and raising hand, (S.8603, RIC 83); Trebonianus Gallus, (251-253 A.D.), (3.33 g), rev. Juno seated left, (S.9631, RIC 35); Gallienus, (A.D. 253-268), (3.35 g), rev. Sol advancing left, raising right hand and holding whip in left hand, Z in left field, (S.10297, RIC 249) (illustrated); Valerian, (A.D. 253-260), (3.13 g), rev. Victory standing left resting on shield and holding palm, (S.9984, RIC 128); Postumus, (A.D. 259-268), (2.98 g), rev. River god Rhine, horns on head, reclining left, resting on urn, right hand on prow, holding anchor in left, (S.10990, cf.RIC 87, RSC-omitted in error) (illustrated). Toned, fine - very fine, one extremely rare. (5)

The Postumus issue is an extremely rare piece from the earliest period of the reign. It must date from the period immediately following his capture of Cologne in summer 260.
