Robert George Parsons, engineer, age 28, born at Launceston, Tas; Enl.13Oct1916 at Melbourne, Vic, in 7Rfts 2 Pnr Bn; Emb.23Nov1916; to France 03May1917; TOS 2 Pnr Bn 20May1917; several fines for being AWL or drunk and disorderly conduct; KIA 20Sep1917, Belgium; Buried in the field at Westhoek Ridge near Ypres, Belgium; body later exhumed and buried at Hooge Crater Cemetery, Zillebeke, Belgium.
