George Hemsley, labourer, age 22, born at Merrylands, Sydney, NSW; Enl.29Sep1941 at NSW Recruiting Depot, Martin Place, Sydney; after various training Emb.24Dec1942 for service in New Guinea with various units including 2/102 Aust Gen Tpt Coy; RTA 15Dec1943 and disembarked at Townsville; Disch.13Jan1944 Medically Unfit with psychopathy; later in 1944 served with American Small Ships Section in New Guinea.
