WALES-NEW ZEALAND, (1980), struck in silver (50mm), by Royal Mint (D.J.G.), hallmark for London, 1980, coat of arms on obverse with dates 1905, 1924, 1935, 1953, 1963, 1972, 1978 and 1980, reverse 'To Commemorate 75 Years Of Rivalry And Friendship' (M&P.1980/7). Extremely fine and rare, only 50 struck.

In a Royal Mint fitted case with descriptive card 'This Cardiff-New Zealand Rugby Commemorative Medallion has been specially designed and commissioned from the Royal Mint by the 1953 Cardiff XV Reunion Committee'.
