GROUP OF FOUR: War Medal 1939-45; New Zealand War Service Medal 1939-45; Legion of Frontiersmen, Meritorious Service Medal (O&D.135); Legion of Frontiersmen, Long Service and Efficiency Medal - with silver fern (O&D.135). The first two medals unnamed, 24075 Captain T.J.Laing on the third medal, Frt/Sm.J.Laing on the fourth medal. The third medal impressed, the fourth medal engraved; also, Group of Four: matching miniature medals, both groups mounted on bars, as worn. Very fine.
Together with a Pioneer Axe (in silver) [illustrated]; ribands (3), additional miniatures for the Long Service and Efficiency Medal (2); a miniature of the Meritorious Service Medal, but Canadian issue, plus a few additional ribbons.
