The Campbell and Ehrenfried Company, Ltd., Brewers, Bottlers and Cordial Manufacturers and General Merchants, were situated in Lower Queen Street and Elliot Street, Auckland. This company was the largest brewing business in the North Island, if not in New Zealand and was formed by the amalgamation of the firms of Messrs Brown, Campbell and Co., and Messrs Ehrenfried Bros. They were incorporated in May, 1897.

In 1915 Campbell & Ehrenfried merged with the Great Northern Brewery, which holds the Lion beer brand and in 1923 they joined the New Zealand Brewery consortium to fight against the prohibitionist movement.

The company is now part of Lion Nathan Limited.
