(Len) Williams: hand engraved in gold (9ct, 6.9g, 37x27mm), English hallmarked, reverse inscribed 'Presented by/C.F.Greenslade Esqr./For/Welter Weight/Won by/ L.Williams/26.6.16; K.F.C. (Kaikorai Football Club), hand engraved in gold (9ct, 6.8g, 33x33mm), reverse inscribed 'Most Improved Forward/L.Williams/1922'; another, struck and hand engraved in gold (9ct, 6.9g, 33x33mm), no maker, reverse inscribed 'Kaikorai F.C./1st Fifteen/Len Williams/Most Improved Forward/1923'; another, struck and hand engraved in gold (9ct, 7.6g, 32x32mm), reverse inscribed 'Presented/By the O.B. Ass./To L.Williams/For Special Ground Bout'; also, Kaikorai Football Club, Life Member's badge in gilt and enamel (26x20mm), no maker, pin-back, reverse inscribed 'L.Williams/13th June'. All with ring top suspensions apart from the last, fine - very fine. (5)

Alexander Leonard Williams (18th October 1898 - 13th June 1972) was a New Zealand All Black based in Otago. He was 24 years old when first selected for the All Blacks in 1922 to play in Australia. He missed out on selection for the 1924 tour to South Africa and retired in 1925 after suffering an injury.
