CLUTHA & MATAU AGRICULTURAL & PASTORAL ASSOCIATION, struck in silver (44mm), by Harrop & Neill, Dunedin (stock medal), reverse inscribed 'Clutha & Matau/1905/Awarded To/John Gordon Esq/Best Shorthorn Bull/2 Years'. Extremely fine and very rare.

These two South Island Society's were independent of each other until they amalgamated in 1886. Very few prize medals are known.
