STRATFORD, ornately handcrafted in gold (15ct, 20.4g, 43x33mm), uncertain maker (markings suggest Frank Grady & Sons, Wellington), ring top and pin-back suspensions, reverse inscribed 'Presented/To/E.J.Walter/By The/People of Stratford/South Africa/1899-1901'. Extremely fine and very rare, a magnificent example of craftmanship.
