ITALY, dagger with silvered steel blade (length 16cm) hand decorated all over, on one side in the middle of the blade is marked, 'Made/in Italy', the guard forms part of the shaped metal handle and with a steel scabbard, the handle and scabbard are decorated with monsters and dragons as well as two sitting cherubs on both sides of the scabbard. The blade has been oiled but the lower half is toned black, otherwise fine.
