Both medals impressed.; (Brother 2 WIA) Pair: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 3607 Pte C.T.Rothwell. 19 Bn. A.I.F. Both medals impressed. The second medal in the first pair and the second pair have no ribbons, otherwise the first pair good very fine, the second pair fine.

Brother 1 is also entitled to Victory Medal 1914-19.
(Brother 1): Charles George Rothwell, clerk, age 21, born at Alexandria, Sydney, NSW; Enl.02Jun1915 at Liverpool, Sydney, NSW, with 3 years in CMF; Emb.19Jun1915; to Gallipoli 16Aug1915; WIA 22Aug1915 slight; WIA 27Aug1915 GSW to shoulder, Gallipoli; to VD hospital 27Nov to 11Dec1915; to France 18Mar1916; to Cpl 13Oct1916; to Sgt 25Nov1916; DOW 28Jan1917 received accidentally whilst at bombing practice on 27Jan1917 at Dernancourt, France; Buried at Dernancourt Communal Cemetery.
