Kurst Blasser, sailmaker and rigger, age 37, born in Russia; Enl.06Dec1917 at East Sydney Recruiting Depot, Darlinghurst, Sydney, NSW; Emb.25Feb1918; TOS 45Bn 05Jun1918; to France 15Jul1918; trf to 34Bn 21Jul1918; injured back and knee accidentally 22Aug1918 when part of a dug-out that was partly blown in by a shell fell on him; RTA 25Jan1919; Disch.22May1919 Medically Unfit.
