PAIR: War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. 100210. G.M.Bishop. Both medals impressed. Second ribbon damaged, toned with spotting on reverse of second medal and a few contact marks on first medal, otherwise good very fine.

Gloria May Bishop, home duties, age 19, born at Brisbane, Qld; Enl.18Aug1943 at 3 Rec. Centre, in WAAF at mustering of trainee cook (originally enlisted under name of Gloria May Smith on 15Jun1942 and discharged 20Oct1942 following her marriage on 27Sep1942); re-mustered to cook 05Feb1944; served at RAAF bases in Australia; Disch.30Oct1945.
