SELEUKID KINGDOM, Antiochos II Theos, (261-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, 30mm, (16.47 g), Lysimacheia mint, obv. diademed head right of Antiochos II, rev. Apollo, testing arrow and resting hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos, monogram to outer left, in exergue, monogram and head of lion right, (cf.S.6886, SC 483.4; Le Rider, Lysimachie, Series 2, dies D2/R8; HGC 9, 236a). Bright, minor areas of roughness, good very fine and very rare.
