L. SCIPIO ASIAGENUS, (c.106 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.90 g), obv. Jupiter laureate head to left, R behind, dotted border, rev. Jupiter holding sceptre and thunderbolt in quadriga to right, L.SCIP.ASIAG in exergue, (S.188, Cr.311/1d, Syd.576, RSC Cornelia 24). Toned, serrated edge, good very fine - nearly extremely fine and scarce.
