UNITED FIRE BRIGADES ASSOCIATION, medal "For Valour", c1880, handcrafted in silver (42x42mm), by F.W.C. (Frederick W.Collins, Napier), unawarded; 25 Years Service Star, in gold (18ct, tot wt 15.9g, 40mm), by F.W.C. (O&D.115), reverse inscribed 'Presented to/-'. Extremely fine and excessively rare, the first toned. (2)

Probably prototypes. Only three of the first medal ever awarded.
