(North Dunedin Rifles), fob medal, handcrafted in gold (probably 15ct, 9.4g, 27mm), no maker (J.Hislop), scroll and ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'Presented by/J.Hislop/Won By/Lieut Richardson/17th May 1884'; another, handcrafted in gold (9ct, 4.0g, 34x34mm), by Townsend (George Townsend, Dunedin), ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'Vol./W.Richardson', reverse inscribed 'Winner of/N.D.R./Challenge Cup/1898'. Very fine. (2)
