BOEOTIA, Thebes, (378-338 B.C.), silver stater, (12.10 g), obv. Boeotian shield, rev. amphora in concave field, with letters **KL IW* either side, (cf.S.2398, Hepworth Series Klion No.69, SNG Cop. 343, BMC 154-5). Lightly toned, very fine and a scarce type.
