CILICIA, Kelenderis, (c.410-375 B.C.), silver stater 17mm, (10.53 g), obv. nude youth, holding whip, dismounting from horse rearing right, rev. goat kneeling left, head right; **KE[L]*, in exergue **L*, all within shallow incuse circle, (S.4427, Casabonne Type 4, Celenderis Series IV, 16, SNG BN -, SNG Levante -, Celenderis Hoard, Num.Chron., 1962, S4.12). Light even gray patination, short on flan, about extremely fine and a very rare variant.

Ex CNG Triton III, Nov 30-Dec 1, 1999 (lot 1743 part).
