CILICIA, Tarsos, Commodus and Annius Verus Caesars, (A.D. 166-169/70 and 166-177), AE 17 hemiassarion, (3.65 g), obv. confronted, bareheaded and draped busts of Commodus right and Annius Verus left, star above, crossed club and caduceus between, above **[KOROI CEB]ACTOU*, rev. decastyle temple with eagle in pediment, to sides **TAR CO[U]*, below **MHTROPOL EWC*, on pediment **[KOI]NOC KIL[IKIAC]*, (S.1917, RPC IV online 5035, SNG Levante 1018, SNG Paris 1455-1457, Ziegler 683. Toning, some encrustation, fine and very rare.
