ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, issued 160, (3.30 g), Rome Mint, obv. laureate, head to right of Antoninus Pius, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P COS XXIII, rev. Pietas standing to left, holding child in each arm, other children before and behind her, around PIETATI AVG COS IIII, (S.4098, RIC 313c, 631). Toned, some surface pitting, nearly extremely fine.
