ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE as, Rome Mint, issued 154-155, (10.64 g), obv. ANTONINVS A[VG PI] VS P P TR P XVIII, laureate head to right, rev. BRITANNIA COS IIII, [SC] in exergue, Britannia seated to left on rock, to left round shield and eagle-tipped sceptre, (S.4296, RIC 934, C.117). Toned, rough surface, nearly very fine, rare.
