MARCUS AURELIUS, as Caesar, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued c.148 under Antoninus Pius, (3.15 g), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around AVRELIVS CAE SAR AVG P II F, rev. around TR POT II COS II, Minerva standing to right, holding spear and shield, (S.4787, RIC 444 [Pius], RSC 618). Slight flan crack, otherwise extremely fine.
