MARCUS AURELIUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 149, (3.27 g), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F COS, rev. around TR POT III COS II, Clementia standing facing, head left, holding patera, CLEM in exergue, (S.-, RIC 448b, RSC 19). A few edge cracks, otherwise extremely fine.
