FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (died A.D. 175), issued 157-161, silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.00 g), obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around FAVSTINAE AVG PII AVG FIL, rev. VENVS, Venus standing left with apple and dolphin-entwined rudder, (S.4708, RIC 517c, RSC 266a). Extremely fine and scarce in this condition.
