FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (died A.D.175), AE sestertius, Rome Mint, (23.58 g), obv. draped bust to right of Faustina wearing a diadem, around FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, rev. SAECVLI FELICIT around, Pulvinar on which are Commodus and Antoninus, without stars, S C across field, (S.5282, RIC 1666, C.194). Deep green-black patina, with an old flan crack, otherwise good very fine and rare in this condition.
