CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 201-06, Rome Mint, (3.00 g), obv. laureate draped bust to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. galley with rowers travelling to left over waves, around ADVENTVS AVGVSTOR, (S.6791, RIC 121, RSC 8). Toned, very fine - good very fine and rare.
