PLAUTILLA, wife of Caracalla, (c.A.D. 202-205), silver denarius, issued 202, (3.64 g), obv. draped bust of Plautilla to right, around PLAVTILLAE AVGVSTAE, rev. Caracalla and Plautilla holding hands, around PROPAGO IMPERI, (S.7073, RIC 362, RSC 21) (illustrated); another, (3.45 g), rev. Pietas standing to right holding a child, around PIETAS AVGG, (S.7072, RIC 367, RSC 16). Toning, good fine - nearly extremely fine. (2)
