SALONINA, wife of Gallienus, (died A.D. 268), antoninianus, Rome Mint, (3.30 g), issued 260-262 A.D., obv. diademed veiled and draped bust of Salonina to right on crescent, around SALONINA AVG, rev. Pudicitia seated to left, drawing veil from face and holding transverse spear, PVDICITIA around, VI in exergue, (S.10649, RIC 25, RSC 94). Grey patination, extremely fine.
