M AVR CARINVS NOB CAES, radiate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Carinus, rev. around PRINCIPI IVVENT, Carinus in military attire holding standard and sceptre, KAE in exergue, (S.12303, RIC 158, C.103); Diocletian, (A.D. 284-305), antoninianus, Antioch Mint, issued 300, (2.71 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust to right, around IMP CC VAL DIOCLETIANVS AUG, rev. Diocletian standing right, receiving Victory from Jupiter, around CONCORDIA MILITVM, (cf.S.12645, RIC 60a). Toning, good very fine. (2)
