(NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION), Christchurch, 1882, uniface, struck in gilt bronze (64x4mm), no maker, struck side inscribed 'Special/Prize/Awarded to/Milner & Thompson/For/Dresden Model/Pianos/1882/Christchurch' (see M.1882/27). Much gilt missing, a few oxidation marks, otherwise very fine and possibly unique.

Together with two advertising silks for Milner & Thompson (one white with blue print and one pink with blue print) (both approx A4 size), also featured on the silks is a Theatre Royal programme for Madame Patey, England's greatest contralto, Friday June 18th, 1891 (pink) and June 19th, 1891 (white).^ ^In advertisements at the time reference was made to Milner & Thompson "Dresden Model" Pianos, for which a special certificate of Gold Medal was awarded at the N.Z. International Exhibition.
