AUCKLAND I.A. & M. (Industrial, Agricultural & Mining) Exhibition, 1913-14, struck in gold (9ct; 14.06g, 13.42g, 13.76g) (3), silver (4) and bronze (3), (all 29mm), by A.Kohn (Adolph Kohn, Auckland), one gold holed for suspension ring (M.1913-14/3), reverses inscribed as follows, three gold 'I.Lomas/For/Carnations', two silver 'I.Lomas/For Carnations', another two silver 'I.Lomas/For/Picotees', two bronze 'I.Lomas/For Seedling/Carnations', another bronze for 'I.Lomas/For/Picotees'. A few with edge nicks, otherwise good fine - extremely fine and rare. (10)
Isaac Lomas, was Secretary of the Onehunga Horticultural Society, retiring from the position at the 1913 Annual Meeting and was presented with a handsome silver rose bowl for his past service. He was also a member of the Onehunga Borough Council and was on the committee of Akarana Rifle Club.
