Breadmaking, struck in gold (9ct, tot wt including suspension bar 15.28g, 28mm), no maker, ring top attached to suspension buckle bar, this inscribed 'J.C.Free & Son/C.Bishop, Baker/Class 15/1927', medal reverse inscribed 'J.C.Free & Sons/(Class) 15./1927'. 9ct double struck on edge, otherwise good very fine.
The Dominion Compressed Yeast Co. Ltd. undertook sole responsibility for the Bread Exhibition held during the currency of the Annual Conference of the Federal Master Bakers' Association of Australasia. The exhibition was solely restricted to bakers who were regular users of D.C.Y. Co. Ltd compressed yeast.
