BRITISH WAR MEDAL 1914-18. 48296 Pte.W.J.Taylor. N.Z.E.F. Impressed; also, stock fob medal hand engraved in silver (29x29mm), no maker, ring suspender missing from top, reverse inscribed '1896/Walter Taylor'. Very fine. (2)

48296 Pte William Joseph Taylor, 25th Reinforcements, F Company, NZEF, embarked from New Zealand 26 April 1917. Killed in Action France, 24 August 1918.
