HALSWELL, hand engraved in gold (15ct, 10.35g, 26.5x27mm), no maker, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'JRG', reverse inscribed 'N.Z.E.F./Pte. J.R.Godsell/From/Halswell Residents/1.5.19'. Very fine.

24890 Tpr James Richard Godsell, 14th Reinforcements, NZ Mounted Rifles, embarked from New Zealand 10 July 1916. Served with 15th Company, Imperial Camel Corps from 9 September 1916 and WIA 9 January 1917.
