First medal engraved, second medal impressed.; also, fob medal, handcrafted in voided gold (15ct, 8.72g, 29x39mm), by E. (?), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'In memory/of/H.Whiteley/Killed in Action/Great War/1914-19/from/Residents/Spring Creek'. Pair good very fine - extremely fine, the fob medal good extremely fine. (3)

10/4495 Pte Harry Whiteley, 11th Reinforcements, Wellington Infantry Battalion, NZEF; embarked from New Zealand 1 April 1916; killed in action, Somme, 19 September 1916.
