UNITED FIRE BRIGADES ASSOCIATION OF N Z, Long Service Medal for five years service, in silver (39mm), by A.T. (Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), with (3) 2 Years Service bars, with ribbon and pin-back buckle bar, reverse inscribed 'Branchman/B.Colbourne/By The/Newmarket/V.Fire Brigade/17-6-07' (D&C.L3; O&D.115). Ribbon disintegrating, medal toned with a few minor edge nicks, otherwise good very fine.
Mr B.Colbourne was elected Captain of the Newmarket Fire Brigade at its annual meeting in 1908 and re-elected in 1909 and 1910.
