UNITED FIRE BRIGADES ASSOCIATION OF N Z, Long Service Medal for five years service, in silver (39mm), by A.T. (Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), with ribbon buckle bar and with (3) 2 Years Service bars, reverse inscribed 'Foreman/T.Donovan./By/Te Aroha F.B./11.9.22' (D&C.L3; O&D.115). Ribbon damaged, medal and bars dark toned, otherwise good very fine.
In 1923 Foreman T.Donovan was one of those selected to represent the local Te Aroha brigade at the Dominion Demonstration held at Dunedin. He was also selected to act as local delegate at the United Fire Brigades' Association annual conference that was held at Dunedin at the same time.
