UNITED FIRE BRIGADES ASSOCIATION OF N Z, Honorary Surgeon Medal, in silver (35x44mm), by AT (Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), with pin-back ribbon suspension bar 'Hon. Surgeon', reverse of medal inscribed ' Presented to/Hon. Surgeon/Dr. H.Paterson/by the/Pahiatua F.B./15.8.37.' (D&C.L8). Toned, good very fine.
Dr. H.Paterson was medical superintendent of the Pahiatua Hospital and was also patron or on the committee of various other organisations in Pahiatua.
