(Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes), various jewels by various makers to S.R.J.Gardiner (note variations as indicated), includes Ruahine Lodge No.81, Primo jewel, 4.12.54; Order of Merit, 20.6.45 - 2.8.58, named S.R.Gardiner; Auditor jewel, 1963 [illustrated]; Kaikoura Lodge No.226, Founder jewel, 7.7.56; Waiter jewel, 1957; Attendance jewel, 1958; Roll of Honour jewel, 22.8.64, with clasp dated '25.6.45, 4.12.54, 2.8.58', in 9ct gold and enamel (approx wt 50g, but centrepiece not gold) [illustrated]; Services Rendered jewel, undated; Secretary's jewel, 1958, with ribbon bar '1960-61-62', ribbon not attached to jewel; Ngauruhoe Lodge No.215, Founder jewel, 1958, this with naming as S.R.G. (sic) Gardiner [illustrated]; Wanganui P.G.L. (Provincial Grand Lodge), Deputy Grand Primo jewel, 1963, all jewels with top bar and stick-pin (two with pin broken), all jewels have N.Z. fern leaf metal and enamel emblem and one also has a Knight of Honour badge affixed.
