(N.Z.RAILWAYS), fob medal, handcrafted in silver and gold (25x31mm), hallmarked for Chester, date letter obscured, by maker W.J.P (William John Pellow, Birmingham), ring top suspension with a few links of a chain attached, reverse inscribed 'To W Mathieson/from/Frankton,/Railwaymen/28.4.39.'; also train ticket no 10565 'N.Z.R. Workshops Employee/Second Class Monthly/Privilege Season/Between/Otahuhu & Ellerslie' dated 'FE 7 31', punch hole cancelled, in a clear window leather ticket holder. Fine - very fine. (2)
