THE NEW ZEALAND FED TYPO IND AS OF WORKERS, (The New Zealand Federated Typographical Association of Workers), die struck member's badge in silver and enamel (23x23mm), by Fattorini & Sons, Bradford, hallmarked for Birmingham 1916, obverse with motto 'The Art Preservative Of All Arts', reverse plain except for maker's marks. Very fine and rare.

'The Art Preservative Of All Arts' refers to the development of printing that made it possible to disseminate knowledge widely.
